Hands-down the most annoying usage has to be something like this: あたしさぁ、昨日さぁ、学校に行ったんだけどさぁ さ can also be placed at the beginning of a sentence, where it is used to invite or urge a person to do something. You often see it used like this: さ、始めよう! Alright, lets get started! I think the "Alright" here captures the tone pretty well, and could be replaced by "ok" as well. For this usage, you can extend the "a" sound to "saa" (さあ or さ〜). だから ごめんね また 節約レシピで。 だから ごめんよ. だからご想像の通り、この飛行機の内部は. だからご覧いただいている. だからご覧になっている立方体は 皆さんが構築したものなのです. だからさ。 だからさぁ 4~5人ばかり食って魔女になるまで 1 can't be 寒いだから for the same reason -- い-adjectives don't take だ.
